PREPARE SOCIETIES FOR RISKS
Expand early warning systems, improve disaster preparedness and implement adaptation strategies such as water and heat management. Support vulnerable people and communities and promote social cohesion.
PROVIDE THE FOUNDATIONS
Investigate the dynamics of climate and weather, where greenhouse gas emissions originate and how they affect Earth systems. Explore the climate of the past and model what it will look like in the future. Find out why we aren’t taking action even though we know what is happening.
