Adaptation
How we stay healthy and able to act through external and internal adaptation
Staying healthy and able to act
Climate change is advancing and threatening not only the environment, but also the places where we live, our health and our social coexistence. In order to deal with its consequences and mitigate them as much as possible, we need to adapt to climate change and become more resilient – physically, mentally and as a community.
This requires ‘external’ adaptation, e.g., through protective measures against heat, flooding or rockfalls. At the same time, we need an ‘inner’ development that enables us to deal with uncertainty, stress and conflict; to help us work together in solidarity and rebuild a mindful, respectful relationship with ourselves, others and nature.
Let’s keep it CO₂OL
… so that we can grasp the situation with our hearts and minds and take the necessary measures for a healthy future for ourselves and others.
